Attention all paddle clubs and paddlers!

You can register online until Thurs., Sept. 13 but please do not mail in a registration now because I won't get it in time. If you can't register online just email me to let me know that you'll be there and then register at the event.

What: A weekend to relax, have fun, socialize with other paddling enthusiasts and maybe learn a thing or two. Bring your boats, bikes, camping gear, fishing gear and anything else you may need for this weekend.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES (but you are always free to do things on your own - ride on the trace, visit our video and book library, hike, etc.)

FRIDAY
Afternoon Arrival & Set Up
6:00 PM - ‘til Social - pot luck and BYOB (finger foods)
SATURDAY
The Backpacker will have boats to demo. If you need to rent a boat, Compass Rose has a variety of kayaks to rent.
8:00 - 10:00 Breakfast (sponsored by the Backpacker)
9:00 - 12:00 Paddle on Cane Bayou
9:00 - 12:00 Kayak Fishing Presentation
9:00 - 12:00 Beach Clean Up in conjunction with "Save Our Lake"
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch - sandwich “fixins” provided by BHPC
1:30 - 4:00 Intro to Kayaking
1:30 - 4:00 Intro to Freestyle Canoeing
1:30 - 4:00 Wilderness Survival Presentation
5:00 - 7:00 Dinner - Jambalaya and pot luck sides and desserts and Hubig's pies! BYOB

9:00 - 12:00 Rig Your Boat

FEES
ACA Members - $5 a person
Non-ACA Members - $15 a person.

Children under 18 and students (under 25) with ID will receive a $5 discount - does not apply to ACA members - we can't go lower than $5!

Camping and Sleeping Arrangements: Bunkhouses are available and included in the price of admission - they sleep up to 65 people. Camping is also available for a fee at the state park. To make reservations for camping please go to Reserve America (to sleep in the bunkhouse you do not need to make reservations - we've already reserved it.)
